Personal Statement

Sportsmanship is key. My first year playing tennis I received the sportsmanship award. The team always comes first, so when coach moves me from doubles one to singles three, it is no problem. Even though I enjoy playing doubles more, I needed to win my singles matches, so the team could qualify for the States tournament. The team ended up qualifying for states and SCC and I still got to compete in the doubles States tournament.
