Personal Statement

My name is Meredith and I'm looking to play collegiate tennis at any level. I just started playing tennis my freshman year and ever since then I've been in love with it! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, tournament play was limited and I was unable to start playing until my junior year. Otherwise, I'm extremely coachable, hard working, and a quick learner. I know how to play towards my strengths by utilizing my speed, pace, and powerful forehand. I have a strong emphasis on education as I attend the Commonwealth Governor's School, a competitive gifted program, and maintain a 4+ GPA. Overall, I would love to continue my love for the game by playing tennis in your collegiate program so feel free to reach out!
