Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Lily and I began running my freshman year in high school. Initially it was just for fun, but during my sophomore year I decided to join cross country and try doing it competitively. I find great joy in running, and I am excited to challenge myself with each season and see how much I can grow. I have an immense love for the sport and love to push myself. My favorite type of running is long distances and I began doing half marathons this year. I can’t wait to continue my running journey and seeing where it takes me.
