I first became interested in running when I joined my middle school Cross Country team in 6th grade. Until that point I had never participated in team sports and I fell in love immediately with the competition and the objectiveness of running having come from a competitive Irish Dancing background. I truly enjoy being able to push myself to the next PR as I compete and I love knowing that through consistent hard work I can continue to improve. I have been very lucky to have the support of great coaches during my running career as I continue running in High School where I now run Cross Country and Track. I look forward to the opportunity to continue my studies in college and continue my path in running with the help of coaches who will help me to continue to work hard in my running and progress in becoming the strongest runner possible.
