My name is Rozalynn Smith and I am a triple jumper and sprinter. My supportive coaches and mother are the people who have always pushed me to go above and beyond and try new things, which have lead me to where I am today both in athletics and life. But I feel it was also my hard work ethic and dedication that have helped me to succeed as well. As only a freshman I had won a few first place awards, including one at the LL championships in triple jump, while also helping to aid my team in the 4 x 1 relay. Academically, I have always done well, even in advanced level classes I took to benefit myself. Furthermore, I am engaged in many clubs and extracurricular activities as a way to stay involved in my school and city. For college, I am very interested in studying in the medical field in order to become an anesthesiologist. As of right now I am looking to study healthcare while competing in the collegiate level for track and field.
