Personal Statement
Samantha Mancini Multi Event – Heptathlon/Pentathlon
In just my second outdoor season competing as a Track and Field athlete, my interest in the Heptathlon has grown. I’ve spent this spring expanding my knowledge of the various events of the Heptathlon, competing in some for the first time. My current goal is to qualify for the 2023 NATIONALS HEPTATHLON with a composite score of 4,500 points.

Since my Freshman year at Loomis Chaffee, I have been a varsity athlete in basketball and volleyball. Before switching to track and field, I've played softball since Tee ball. Because of the many years of experience throwing for softball, I am very much interested in competing in the Javelin. I am a hard working, determined and competitive student athlete. Due to attending a boarding school since the age of 14, I have grown to be independent, responsible, and organized. I am looking for a school where I can continue to be challenged both academically and athletically. I also want to be at a school with a strong sense of community and a team that feels like family.
