Hi, My name is Lilly. For me track was a lucky accident turned passion. I started my career out freshman year at a big 3A school I wasn't even supposed to make the team because I didn't complete tryouts. "How?" then you might ask. Well I wiped out in my first 400 meter trial but I still picked myself up and made it across the line. Despite not quite "finishing" the trial my coach saw something in me I didn't even see in myself. That first year sparked a passion inextinguishable despite bouncing between events. The following years I took off. I finally found that I had a talent for sprints so that's where I focused most in. However this past season at the very beginning I got injured, I was out for a week and my ankle hindered my performance most of the season. Despite my injury I was able to PR in the 100 and 200 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
