Personal Statement

Sports have been a huge part of my life. I've competed in soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball over the years. For 5 years I swam competitively and was pretty successful in my competitions. Although being committed to swimming I joined my school track team in grade 9 and fell in love with it. In grade 10 I gave up swimming and started running full time with school and my club. My running journey has been pretty crazy as in grade nine my events were 3k and 1500, and now I run 400,800, and even 4x100. Apart from track I also compete in cross country, which I have performed well in. I am excited to really push myself in training this year and the next to really improve my times.
