I'm Nora Peterson and I am a five sport athlete at Alta-Aurelia High School in Iowa.  A strong work ethic has been engrained in me, having grown up the 6^th generation on our family farm. I have a passion for running and am excited about the opportunity to be able to make big contributions to your team.

A few of my high school honors and results so far: 

• Cross Country = Four-time conference champion, four-time district champion, four-time all conference, four-time 1A first team all-state. academic all-state, elite all-state, 1A Des Moines Register all Iowa team; 2024. State meet finishes = second place in 2024, third place in 2021 & 2022, and fourth place in 2023.  Helped team win the district title in 2022 and 2024.    
• Track & Field = Twelve-time State qualifier, seven-time State medalist, ten-time district champion, seven-time conference champion, four meet records, and three school records. Helped team to win the district title in 2023.    
• Softball = First team all conference outfielder, 2A Northwest all-district team, and 2A third team all-state; 2024.
• Basketball - Third team all conference, conference all-academic team, most inspirational player - voted on by team; 2023.  First team all conference, conference all-academic team, offensive player of the year - voted on by team; 2024.  First team all conference, conference all-academic team, all region team, 2A Northwest all district team, academic all district, Iowa Girl's Coaches Association E. Wayne Cooley "You Can" Award for character and leadership in basketball, team captain; 2025.  
• Volleyball = Third team all conference; 2023.  First team all conference, 2A Northwest all-district team; 2024.
• Named as one of the Storm Lake Times Pilot's Girl's Athletes of the Year in 2022-2023 & 2023-2024.
