Akeelah Anderson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Akeelah Anderson will be a senior next year at Hempstead high school. I am a sprinter on the girls track team and I run the 100s,200s, 4x1, 4x2, sprint med, and the distance med. through out my 3 years so far running those events I’ve token all of them to state and just this year my DMR won a state champion title. I focus on the mental aspects of the sport, like visualizing my races and setting a specific mind goal. I really do have a huge love for this sport and I want to continue growing for another 4 years!
