I have been doing something with a softball or a bat since the age of 6. My goal is to take my softball to the next level. I have played for different travel teams, and my high school softball team and have decided in past years that I don't want high school to be the end of my softball career. I think I fell in love with the game of softball for many reasons, but the strongest is the passion and drive I have to compete in every single pitch, inning, at bat, and game. But I believe you cannot compete at any level if you do not bond with the girls you call your teammates. I believe I bring a smile, positivity, laughter, and a good attitude to every practice or game. The biggest part of the game is your mentality. I feel that I bring a strong mental game that wants to win, but also has their teams back. Over the past years, I have had teams where they have your back if you mess up and you have theirs if they mess up. Those are the type of teams that will go and win a tournament because the girls are simply playing for each other, not themselves.
As for school, I take it very seriously. I am in several honors classes and have taken two AP classes in my two years of high school so far. I maintain a 3.6 or higher GPA at all times.
