My name is Lilian McGrath. I’m a Junior at Hays High School in Kansas. I want to go on to compete in college track after I graduate. Last season I competed in the 200 m, long jump, high jump, 4x1 as 4th leg, and 4x4 as the 3rd leg. I also am on our varsity volleyball team as a middle block. I’ve competed in Kansas State Track my freshman year, going in the 4x1 and 200m, and sophomore year going in long jump (8th), 200m, 4x1 (6th), and 4x4. I was Emporia Regional champ of 2022 in long jump. I not only put my all into my athletic training, but also as a student in the classroom, having a 3.9 GPA and all honors/AP classes. I plan to major in neuroscience, which is something I take into consideration when researching college track teams. I strive for greatness in myself, constantly setting new goals and challenges to complete with the use of my insanely high competitive drive. I see myself continuing to grow with amazing college coaches and becoming the best I could possibly become.
