Makaya Damon '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello fellow coaches, my name is Makaya Damon. I am a senior, student-athlete, that attends Crowley High School in Crowley, LA. As a student-athlete I believe that it ´ s important to prioritize my academic goals before my athletic goals. My plan is to attend a college that will help further my track career in the 800 meter run and even the 400 meters , while studying to get my BSN. During the 2022 outdoor track season I dropped my 800m time from a 2:37 to a 2:24, so I believe by the end of the 2023 outdoor season I will be able to drop my time drastically through my commitment and determination.
