Sylvia White '23 Recruiting Profile

In addition to being a scholar athlete that is committed to bettering myself, I am one that is constantly working to make my teammates better.  I have been a leader in both the classroom and on the athletic field (track, XC, soccer, swimming), even as an underclassman.  Not only do I lead by demonstrating my work ethic, but I am also constantly assisting the rest of my teammates by cheering them on, teaching them things that I know, and being a positive force.  

I feel I have growth ahead of me on the track and cross country course, as I stepped away from the fall and spring competitive soccer seasons this past year.  I was able to participate in a couple of indoor meets when my high school soccer season allowed and also did summer track for the first time.  I am really looking forward to what my senior season will bring.  

I am active in various school clubs and activities, and have taken multiple AP and Honors courses with straight As.  I also scored a 31 on the ACT and have a combined 33 superscore. I am most likely looking to study something in the sciences, and am hoping to find a school that will provide me with the best opportunity to grow both academically and athletically.
