Hello! I am excited about going into my senior year of High school here in Southwest Michigan. My father was in the Coast Guard and we have moved all over the country from Alaska to Boston and about 4 states in between. I started running my 7th grade year in Avon Lake, Ohio. So I do have two accounts on Athletic.net. My sophomore year we moved to Saint Joseph, Michigan. It was a challenge transitioning with different coaches, training and teammates, but I feel that I have handled it well and my teammates look to me for encouragement and motivation.
Some of my goals for my senior year are continuing to improve my times, being a leader for my younger teammates, and having fun looking for a place to continue running! Covid took a toll on my Sophomore track season and we were not able to compete at all. Junior year XC season was rough due to covid restrictions and my recovery from an injury. I am 100% now and had a great track season. There were only 5 distance runners on our team so I was expected to compete and perform well. I usually competed in the 4x800, mile, 2 mile and 4x400, and was one of the top point scorers for our entire team. I am looking forward to seeing all my hard work pay off these next few months in cross country and the 2022 track season.
