Being a military dependent, my dad always taught my brother an I "excellence in all we do". He would say, "why waste your time doing something if you are not going to do your best at it"? Because of this, I always approach the track/trail the same way I approach life...with the expectation of doing my best and being better today than I was yesterday. This is what I bring to my team and teammates; whether it be at practice or in competition, they will always get the best that I have and I will do whatever I can to help bring out the best in them.
I take pride in being a leader and am looking for a program that will give me the opportunity to grow as a leader and teammate. To me, past success is not as important as the programs direction and culture. I am looking to join a team that has a strong family feel with strong leadership and coaching. I know that I can help the right program reach it's goals.

- Covenant College Cross Country Camp 2023

- Located in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, Covenant College sits on the mountains of prestigious training grounds. From Covenant's campus, there are miles of accessible trails including where Covenant College hosts the Mountaintop Invitational. Additionally, there are gorgeous single track trails with spectacular mountain views that run all the way to the state of Alabama. Not only is the mountain a place where spectacular runners develop their talent, but the Covenant College XC team has brought back 20 Conference Championships over the years, not including the individual conference champions along the way. What you can expect at camp: -Hear from guest speakers -Learn about building team culture -Learn and develop racing strategies to implement into your season -Form development -Be seen and recognized by Coach Kaczinski and any additional staff -Meet and get to know our counselors/members of the Covenant College XC Team -Meet and develop lifelong friendships and memories -Educational lectures, games, workouts, team building and more -Run on our gorgeous campus trails

- Camp is held early in the summer to boost the importance of summer training and its critical impact on the fall cross country season. Camp promotes team bonding and teaches leaders how to step up on their team. Goal is to encourage runners to embrace the team aspect of cross country. Campers will have an exciting and educational few days. Activities will include Presentations on training, psychology, diet, goal setting (individual and team), and more. We incorporate core, yoga, strength training, and critical stretches into each day to help teach each student the importance. New team building activities. Workout designed for runner of ALL LEVELS. Chocolate Milk Mile and Chocolate Milk Relay. Obstacle Course and Mud Race

- Texas Tech Cross Country - Jon Murray Distance Camp

- The philosophy of the Texas Tech Cross Country Camp (dba Jon Murray Distance Camp) is to encourage and prepare serious cross country runners for the high school cross country season. It is an intense week of hands-on training at 8000 feet elevation. With a low camper to counselor ratio, personal attention is an emphasis of the camp. The camp will be a nice mix of training, lectures, fun activities and leadership building.

- The clinics will be led by Lyon College head men’s and women’s cross country coach Adam Trausch with the assistance of local coaches and guest speakers. Speakers include former NCAA Division I athletes, a registered dietitian, and area coaches. • Runners are divided into appropriate training groups based upon experience and goals. • Experienced, successful coaches lead workouts to address those goals. • Participants push alongside other committed distance runners learning to train properly.
