Emma Heath '25 Recruiting Profile

When I entered high school I never thought I would join track and field. I changed schools during my freshman year and my friends dragged me to a practice at the beginning of sophomore year. The first indoor meet I went to was when I decided to join and found my passion for pole vaulting. Pole vaulting takes priority over all of my other events and although I can be too hard on myself sometimes, my determination and drive to improve is strong. Now, my goal for pole vault is to improve at every practice, it does not matter if its by a little or a lot but I just have to improve. I want to continue this in college because I want to make everyone proud. I pole vault for my family, coach, friend, and everyone else who helped me get to where I am now. I will prove that all they sacrificed for me did not go to waste.
