My name is Avery Johnson, and I will be a Junior in the 2025-2026 season at Reno High School in Reno, Nevada, graduating with the class of 2027. I’m passionate about both athletics and academics, and I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to a competitive collegiate track and field program. I’ve shown consistent growth in my events and continue to push myself to improve each season. Here are my current personal bests:

Track & Field:

• 200m: 28.65 (2024) → 27.40 (2025)

• 400m: 1:06.94 (2024) → 0.59 (2025) 

• 800m: 2:42.41 (2024) → 2:26.75 (2025 Outdoor)

• 1600m: 5:53.29 (2024) → 5:41.57 (2025 Outdoor)

• 4x200 Relay: 1:42.87 (2025 Outdoor) NIAA 5A State Championships (1ST TEAM ALL REGION)

• 4x400 Relay: 3:58.31 (2025 Outdoor) NIAA 5A State Championships (1ST TEAM ALL REGION & 2nd TEAM ALL STATE)

• 4x800 Relay: 9:55.44 (2025 Outdoor) NIAA Northern 5A Region Championships 2nd Place (1ST TEAM ALL REGION)

Cross Country:

• Competed at the NIKE NXR Southwest Regional Championships (2023 & 2024)

• Qualified for Regionals and State Championships (Freshman & Sophomore years)

Academics:

• Cumulative GPA: 4.0

• Two-time recipient of the Reno High Dean’s List and NIAA Nevada Academic All-State honors

• Enrolled in multiple honors courses; will graduate with an honors diploma

• Scheduled to take the SAT in Spring 2026

• Intended major: Kinesiology or Pre-Med with an interest in Physical Therapy or Audiology
