Personal Statement
The sport of running has taught me the greatest life skills I could ever ask for. Through running, I have learned to work as hard as I can to achieve my goals, always wanting more. It has taught me grit, determination, and how to get out of my comfort zone in order to grow as an athlete. Additionally, I have learned great leadership skills and how to build teammates or fellow runners up. With all of these skills and mindsets that have come from running, I love that I am able to translate them to the real world, becoming a better all around person. I am looking forward to pursuing my passions in college, while working my hardest to achieve success both academically and academically.
