I am a very self-driven and determined person on and off the track and field. I have very good sportsmanship and respect other teams, as well as my own. I always give 110% when it comes to improving my skills and am open to anything and everything to help me along the way. I know to balance sports, school, and a social life very well, since it is something I have been doing for years. My biggest goal is to impress and satisfy not only coaches, scouts, and recruits with my work, but also myself and the important people around me.
In my freshman year, our 4x100m relay team got 1st at states and 3rd at MOCs, and qualified for New Englands. Sophomore year we repeated this, except with a 6th place finish at MOCs, then went to New Englands and got 11th. My major focus sophomore year was on triple jump, which I placed 3rd in at states, MOCs, and New Englands. I improved from my freshman to sophomore year by more than 5 feet, from 32' to 37' 2", while breaking my own school record twice. Junior year, we won the 4x100m relay again and placed 3rd at MOCs. In the 100m I placed 5th at States and 7th at MOCs. In the triple jump, I came in 1st at States and MOCs. I qualified for New England's in the 4x100m Relay as well as the triple jump.
I aim to be an athlete on my future college's track and field team, with the potential to have a spot on the field hockey team. Currently I would like to go to a 4-year college and major in Nursing (RN) or Exercise Science and minor in biology, then pursue my master's to become a Nurse Practitioner.
