Although I have only been competing in Track and Field for 3 years, I have been competing in a high level, very competitive gymnastics program for over 8 years. In those 8 years of gymnastics I have learned the value of commitment and setting goals. I learned that in order to compete at a high level that sacrifices have to be made. I also learned how to be coached, how to be corrected and turn those corrections into success. Additionally, I learned how to fail, get back up and keep working hard. Each season I compete in Track and Field I am setting new PR's in both Pole Vault, High Jump, and Triple Jump. As of 05/27/2021, I am Atlantic County Champion in high jump and pole vault. I know that my ceiling has yet to be reached and I have higher heights, longer jumps and faster runs to achieve. There is no doubt that I will be an asset to any team I am a member of as I am very goal oriented, coach-able and committed athlete. I apply this same character to my academics as well. I have aspirations of becoming an Anesthesiologist. I know that in order to achieve this it is going to take hard work, dedication and perseverance . I am ready and excited to take on the challenge.
