Lola DeGroot '21 Recruiting Profile

As a four sport athlete, I've earned varsity letters in Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field, and Soccer.  In 2019, as a sophomore, I won the New Mexico State Championship in the High Jump and Triple Jump, and currently hold the Class A New Mexico State Record in both events. 

I've been selected by my coaches and teammates as Team Captain in both Volleyball and Basketball for three years in a row.   I have received recognition in athletics to include 2020 Volleyball Team MVP, 3 x Basketball Team MVP (2020, 2019, 2018), three All-District awards, "All-Tournament" teams, honored as Clovis Christian Eagle Student of the Year, and named the "Max Preps New Mexico Volleyball Player of the Week" with 56 kills, 28 digs, 13 aces, and 30 blocks during the week of September 2-8, 2019.

I am a member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll, and I currently rank 3rd in my class with a 4.0 GPA.   In 2020, I also received the "Distinguished Christian High School Student Award" for achievements in academics, leadership and athletics.
