Potential Coaches
It is a bit hard to determine how to best sell yourself. I would say that I am a natural born athlete and academic. I work hard at everything I do. Whereas I recognize that I have talent, hard work beats talent all day. Athletically speaking, I have been a competitive athlete for as long as I can remember. I spent the last ten years of my life as a competitive gymnast. I am currently a level 9 Junior Olympic Gymnast. In my sophomore year of high school I decided I needed a change and switched gears to running. My first and only (due to the pandemic) outdoor season was amazing. I set, broke, then reset my school record for the 400meter dash. I was very proud of myself and I was able to make it to State Qualifiers, unfortunately I missed the 2019 outdoor State meet. What was so impressive about the 2019 outdoor season was that my 400 time dropped from a 65 to a 58. The Indoor 2019-2020 season was so amazing for me and my team. I personally set a school record in the 300 and my 4x200 relay team made it all the way to the State meet and set our current school record. Like many other athletes I was sad that we did not have a 2020 track season. Health and safety is paramount so I understand the need to pause for the safety of our country. I was, and still am, looking forward to seeing how much lower I can drop my 400meter time. Outside of running, I also play the violin and was a member of my schools orchestra from 4 grade through 10th grade. I enjoy free style dancing and hanging out with my puppy. I have uploaded video's of my running and some recent gymnastics videos. My goal in including the latter is to highlight my strength and conditioning. My years as a competitive gymnasts made my transition into running smooth and my work ethic towards become a faster, better, runner strong.
