I aspire to combine my passions for healthcare and physical fitness by obtaining a degree in biology and health science while actively participating in athletics. As a critical thinker with innate curiosity, I have taken challenging Advanced Placement courses and pushed myself to develop my analytical and problem-solving skills. I maintain a high GPA and honor roll distinction while participating in many extracurricular and athletic teams at North Catholic and being a nationally ranked, three-time All American Junior Elite Triathlete. Additionally, I have been honored with the distinction of a St. Joan of Arc Medallion candidate with 300 accumulated service hours.
While competing on cross country, track, swim, and triathlon teams, I have diligently worked to improve my weaknesses, achieve my goals, and perform at the highest levels in these sports. I hope to use college as a platform to improve myself and commit to a healthy lifestyle. My positive attitude, work ethic, and leadership skills make me an asset to any team. I show my character through my words and actions. I am a role model my teammates can look up to in an academic and athletic setting. From my experiences, I believe I illustrate a mature and well-rounded student who is ready to excel in a demanding college setting.
