Personal Statement
Running in college has always been one of my biggest goals. Not only do I love to run, I love to compete. I can without a doubt see myself running in college. I personally feel like I would be a great fit running at the next level because not only can I handle classwork and training, I am also very coachable. I love being a part of a team and enjoy meeting new people!
Before athletics comes academics though. I am currently interested in being a nurse or speech pathologist, but we all know how we can change our mind about what we want to be! I hold a 3.98 out of 4.0 GPA. I balance classwork, dual credit classes, and sports all at the same time. Now, my athletic achievements consist of being the UIL 1A State Silver Medalist my sophomore and junior year in the 800 meter run. Along with being a 3x regional qualifier in cross country placing 9th at the regional meet my junior year that led to advancing to state. Overall, I would describe my character as being disciplined, self motivated, committed, funny, and studious. I cannot wait to see where I end up in the future, but hopefully it will be running as a collegiate athlete.
