I’m Yarida De Leon, a junior distance runner from Chilton High School. I didn’t come into this sport with natural talent—but I stayed with it through early morning miles, setbacks, and seasons of growth. What began as a challenge became my passion. Running has shaped my character—it’s taught me discipline, grit, and how to lead with heart. I’m deeply committed to my goals, both on the track and in the classroom, and I believe in showing up every day with purpose. I’m ready to keep growing, keep pushing, and bring that same fire to the next level.
