Josie Settle '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!  
          Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile! I absolutely love track and field, and am looking forward to seeing what my future holds at the collegiate level! I love being a part of a team, where we all support and push one another to be our best. I also love being a role model to younger and other athletes, and helping them grow mentally and physically in track and field.  Jumping is one of my favorites, but it’s so hard to pick a favorite event, especially with doing multi events, which is why I love being a heptathlete.  I love the challenge of doing 7 events over the 2 days, and to really balance and push my physical and mental strength.  Don't get me wrong, its an extremely tough event, but that's why I love it.  Being a student athlete is also very important to me.  I take pride in my grades, work hard in the classroom, and enjoy showing my school spirit by being involved in many school clubs.   I look forward to talking with you all, and learning more about your schools and track & field programs!
