Casidi Pehler '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Casidi Pehler. I am a senior at Arcadia High School in Arcadia, Wisconsin. Playing sports in college is something I have always dreamed of from a young age. Now that it is getting closer, that dream has turned into a goal and hopefully, it can become a reality. 

Athletics have always been a huge part of my life but once I picked up the pole vault pole, I fell in love with it and knew that was what I wanted to do at the next level. My love and determination to succeed in pole vault is my drive to continue to work hard to get better. Whether it is weightlifting, training, nutrition, or educating myself on the technique of the sport. 

Currently, I am a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track. I was dual sporting, in track and softball, my freshman and most of my sophomore year, and was able to be successful in both sports; however, once I knew my potential and love for pole vaulting I decided not to continue with softball and focus on track and field. Once I made that decision, I quickly rose in height going from a PR of 10'9" to 11'6" in a matter of weeks. I am excited to see what my junior year will bring, as it will be my first year of track and field being my only spring sport. 

I have been training with my club coach Kyle Steiner, head coach at University Wisconsin-Stout, on Sundays this off-season along with other camps, and hope that this will help me achieve my next goal of 13'.

I look forward to discussing opportunities to compete at the collegiate level throughout the United States.
