My goals are to attend a college or university, graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and continue playing volleyball through my college career. On and off the court I make a good candidate for any school and team because I’m passionate about volleyball and academics, I’m dedicated to improving myself, I’m determined to meet my goals and I strive for success in all aspects of my life. Though I like being a leader to my peers, I take direction and constructive critiques well; using them to improve my game. I’m a team player who has created a second family with my teammates. When I’m playing volleyball, it’s easy for me to identify the patterns of my competitors to predict what they’re going to do next. I communicate their intentions with my team and we make a plan to counter. In order for me to participate in sports, I have to have an A or B in each of my classes. These house rules motivate me to keep my grades up so I can play volleyball and will help me be a successful college student-athlete because I already have the structure and mindset that I’m a student first, athlete second.
