Gabriela Saucedo Salas '25 Recruiting Profile

My college goals consist of playing college volleyball as competitively  as possible, becoming a well rounded student in general and obtain a  quality secondary education. I plan to pursuing degree in law. The  things that make me a good candidate for your team are as follows: I am  extremely competitive, I am no stranger to working very hard to  accomplish my goals. I have a true passion for volleyball and I am a  very good team player. I believe I set myself apart from other recruits  by understanding the overall goals and needs of the overall team and  becoming an asset to any team I play for. I do what I say and follow  through with commitments even if they are very difficult or turn out  different from my expectations. I understand that I need to always work  hard to continually improve and grow in my sport. I am always open to  learning new methods and techniques and there is no such thing as  knowing it all. Academically I apply the same principles as I do to my  sport but giving it 100% and trying to be the best that I can possibly. I  don't settle for just good enough I always do my very best.

I have recently come off an ACL & Meniscus tear, surgery was performed March 17, 2022. This 2023 club season has been my first competitive play since the surgery. It is going very well and I am improving every week.
