Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Yasmine and have been playing the game of volleyball for  8 years. I started when I was just 9 years old and fell in love with it. I fell in love with the drive it gave me and the way it nurtured the competitive edge inside of me. I aspire to play at the collegiate level and continuing to work hard in school. I currently hold a 3.8 GPA and want to major in Health Science. I want to become a pediatric surgeon because I have a strong passion for helping people and enjoy being around children.  Aside from volleyball, I am involved in various different activities including volunteer work, school engaging clubs, interning at a local university, and even spend free time indulging in reading books.
