Kate Hicks '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Hicks and I’m a 6’0 middle and outside hitter from Sahuarita, Arizona. I began playing club volleyball my freshman year of high school after watching my two older sisters play volleyball for most of my life. As soon as I started playing club and progressing in the sport I knew I wanted to compete at the next level as well. My competitive nature drives me to work hard and always find ways to keep improving. In my 2019 high school volleyball season our team won the region championship for the first time in school history and I was voted region player of the year and first team all region. Along with volleyball, I hope to continue academically challenging myself in future schooling as I’ve worked hard throughout high school to maintain my gpa and involve myself in extracurriculars like Student Council and National Honor Society. I know I can bring a lot to any team and school due to my competitiveness, dedication and high energy. I’m eager to continue improving during club season and finding a school that’s the perfect fit for me.
