I’m Shaelee Echeverria and I’m a 5’8 middle blocker and hitter. I started playing volleyball in 5th grade and I am now going to be a senior in high school. This season will be my fourth season as a starting varsity middle blocker and my second year as a captain. I play three different sports throughout the year and I have decided that I want to continue my future by playing college volleyball. Being a 5’8 middle blocker may be out of the ordinary, but I wouldn’t count me out. This last volleyball season I have been awarded regional MVP and was the Maxpreps/AVCA Arizona high school player of the week of October 10. I finished my season as the #1 blocker in the state with a total of 207 solo blocks.
