Alyssa Gossett '29 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Alyssa Gossett, a 5'4" Class of 2029 student and Defensive Specialist/Libero for Arkansas Select Volleyball in Traskwood, Arkansas. My vision is to shine in every aspect of life, especially in volleyball at the collegiate level.

I began my volleyball journey last year at Harmony Grove Junior High and joined ASV’s Regional Plus team in November as a Defensive Specialist/Outside Hitter. While I face challenges, my dedication to my goals remains unwavering, focusing on my strengths, particularly my defensive skills.

With a GPA of 3.92, I aspire to pursue Nursing in college. To elevate my game, I train every morning and take private lessons twice a week. Managing academics and sports can be demanding, but I prioritize my studies and aim for excellence. I also served as a Leadership Representative in my National Beta Club and have been part of the Gifted and Talented program since 3rd grade. I am committed to being an encouraging and supportive teammate!
