Hannah Baker '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Hannah Baker.  I have been playing volleyball for half my life.  I started playing club at age 8 and have played every year since.  I have also played other sports but volleyball has always been my passion.  It is my goal to find a college where I can grow academically and play the sport I love.

My strengths are my hard work ethic, leadership skills,  and my volleyball IQ.  I have always been the young one on the team and it has given me the experience and volleyball knowledge needed for the college level.  I have always been an asset on every team I have played on and coaches LOVE me.   I have been team captain the last three years in high school and club captain the last 4 years.  I always give it everything and never quit!  I've been a starter and haven't left the court in the last 7 years in club or high school and I'm thrilled I get the chance to break some school records next year!

My 2021 high school junior year was an amazing year.  We went to the State Championships, first time in our schools and counties history.  We also won the State Regional Championship.  My junior year, I was awarded All-league Offensive player of the year,  selected to the Fresno Bee's All-Star list.  As well as being nominated for Fresno Bee's player of the week 3 times.  I was also awarded the Big Spike Award from my coach as well as being named Lions Club Athlete of the month.

So far in 2022, I've received All-Team at the Clovis Challenge, nominated for both Fresno Bee and Visalia Times for athlete of the week, Lions club athlete of the month and been high-lighted in Volleyballmag.com.  The season has just started and I can't wait to beat my own records.

I LOVE volleyball and can't wait to get the opportunity to play at the college level!  I am so ready!
