My goal is to get into a D1 college for volleyball with an animal sciences or biology major. I've been playing volleyball ever since I saw my first professional volleyball game in 7th grade. I've faced many obstacles and conflicts but I have never given up, i've only strived to become better. I have accomplished many of my goals, and have set many new and harder ones to achieve. I have dedicated my life to volleyball and during the different seasons I practice every single and during my off season I swim competitively to stay in shape. I've had many different coaches and have learned to adapt to different coaching styles very easily. I also have been trained as an all round player on the court but my most successful position is middle blocker. Im only 5'8 but my goal is to still play as a middle in college.
I also have experienced many different types of teammates and personalities. I was captain of my club team because I can work and communicate very well with these different types of unique teammates and personalities off and of the court. Im very reliable and rarely miss practice or games. Ever since I knew volleyball was my passion I have cancelled family events, missed out on many extra school actives, cancelled hanging out with friends, missed vacation opportunities, all so I can play volleyball.
I also know that there are many aspects to being a good player off and off the court. I try best to stay healthy and in shape at all times. I also always put school first. I have always been good at managing my grades while still dedicating my life to volleyball. Even when it gets hard to balance the two out I have always found a way.
