I believe that kindness is one of the best qualities a person can have. I am grateful for the amazing support of my friends and family that positively influence me on a daily basis to be a strong and caring leader. I have a passion for mentoring and volunteering with special needs children every year at our local special needs volleyball clinic. I hope to be able to use my future career and leadership skills developed through volleyball to contribute to the special needs community with a focus on these incredible children.
I grew up loving all athletic sports including softball, soccer, and swim, from a really young age. However at nine years old, I was invited to my cousins high school summer volleyball clinic. I left that clinic with a passionate calling for playing volleyball and still continue to play 5 years later.
Since I have been playing volleyball I have learned so much about myself and the kind of person I want to become. Being able to connect with the team is crucial, especially with such a competitive sport. While volleyball is extremely competitive, I have learned that having fun, being dedicated, and good leadership will help the team succeed!
I am currently a freshman in high school. Maintaining a high GPA is extremely important to me because my future dream is to play on a college volleyball team. My academic and volleyball goals are to work hard and achieve success for my team and myself.
I am looking forward to my future and all of the positive opportunities that I can create for myself, my team and my community.
