Katie Roberti '17 Recruiting Profile

 I am a libero/DS from Redondo Beach, California in the Class of 2017 at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks and play club at San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club.  I am looking for an academically challenging school with a competitive volleyball team.  My intended major is accounting and finance.

My daily 25 mile commute to school takes about an hour and is on 2 of the most congested freeways in the country.  As you can imagine, I have had to develop solid time management skills to maintain a high GPA (4.46 weighted, 3.96 un-weighted) while playing volleyball year round.  I have been playing club and school volleyball for 8 years and have played as an outside hitter, setter, and for the past 4 years libero/DS. 

Katelin Batten, my USA volleyball High Performance libero coach and University of Denver assistant coach said in my written evaluation that “[I am] a natural passer with great platform, touch, balance, and tracking skills”, “ [I] have a good athletic frame upon which to develop”, and “[I have] potential to be a high-level libero”.
