My love for volleyball began the minute I stepped onto the court in sixth grade and I knew I wanted to play in College and beyond.
I have worked hard to be a good utility player, focusing on my ability to play any position at any time, which my previous coaches have taken full advantage. Chosen as MVP in the high school 22-23 volleyball season, I played pin, libero, DS, and setter, and feel my coachability allowed me to reach my full potential.
Volleyball is more than just about your physical skill; it involves mental toughness, being able to read the ball, and being coachable. I always want to improve my technique and look for feedback consistently. I strive to be the hardest working recruit you will find and always look for more ways to be a valuable member to my coach and my team.
As volleyball is my passion, I participate in club volleyball year round, and have been selected to be on the elite team consistently. When not in season, I help coach a little league volleyball team, lift weights in the weight room and work on my volleyball skills in a summer league.
My additional activities outside of volleyball include crochet, drawing, and studying hard to maintain a good GPA. In addition, I am a member of a select choir within my high school and performed at Disneyland in the Spring of 2023.
I want to attend a college that values a hard working student who strives to learn both on and off the volleyball court. I am open to all options and want to find the best fit for myself at the highest level of competition possible to obtain my dreams of one day playing professionally. I strive to be a good role model for my peers, and hope to make my parents proud.
