ALYSSA WELLS '24 Recruiting Profile

     In the eighth grade, I started playing club volleyball & played volleyball in high school since my first year. Now a senior high school in Castle Rock, Colorado- Douglas County High School, ive been practicing and competing with the high school team for the previous three years as a DS and libero, respectively; as a DS during my first year of volleybal club before becoming a libero each year following that. Ive been utilized whenever necessary as an all-around player during the club season each year. Im very enthusiastic about volleyball, and I hope to give back by perhaps coaching volleyball and owning volleyball clubs in the future as a way to contribute to my skill set. Playing volleyball has helped me develop my character, discipline, and love for the game. 

     I have the following club recognitions overall for the 2022 season:  527 digs, 586 serves received, 47 assists, and Defensive Player of the Year awards from both Club and Junior Varsity High School volleyball.  I maintain a 3.0 GPA overall and keep working toward my academic objectives to fulfill university admissions standards. I am excited about the game, extremely disciplined, coachable, versatile, and looking forward to joining a college or university volleyball team that would be willing to have me as a member of their community.
