Hi I'm Brianna mainly known as Bri. I have been playing volleyball since about 3rd grade and I am a 10th grader at Cheyenne Mountain High School. Ever since I was younger and would watch my sisters team and Olympic players on the television, I knew in my mind that it was my main focus and my collegiate goal.
In my mind volleyball makes me who I am. I had a coach this past year named Jason, he was one of the hardest coaches in my career this at this point, I remember him telling me and the other coaching staff that I was "the girl with a burning passion and the one always ready to achieve a new goal. And he was always so tough on me because he knew I could do it if I put my mind to it. And if he stopped pushing me I knew he gave up on me but not one point did he decide to give up on me. Every athlete needs a "Jason" in their life so they can realize you can make your goals happen and to not be scared to attempt them.
So while looking for colleges I tend to look for a college that can push my athletic strengths but also push me in my academics. That is why every team I have played for I push myself a new goal every other month.
I feel as if I am a good candidate for a team because I am not a follower, I am a leader and I want to be able to show my strengths and prove not only the people who doubted me but even prove to myself that I can make anything happen if I put fourth the effort. I think I am different from many of the other recruits because of my desire for volleyball and my stride to be that leader for the team.
