My name is Abriana Riopel and I first fell in love with Volleyball in middle school. I was a middle throughout my middle school career and improved, significantly during that time. I moved mid-season freshman year and was not able to play for either school that I attended. I am currently in my sophomore year and was a varsity starter, all season. My main position is Opposite but I can also play Outside. My hits have become very powerful this year and I’ve improved my serve, as well. I am focused and determined on the court and try to keep up team morale throughout tough games. I look forward to continuing to grow as a player and becoming more of a leader on my team.
I am very passionate about the game and hope to continue my career at the college level. I will be playing club volleyball during the off-season as well as playing basketball for my high school. I love sports and being involved in my school’s athletic department. I plan to be a three sport athlete while also focusing on volleyball, year-round. I believe that this experience and dedication will prepare me for the rigors of balancing college athletics and academic pursuits.
I am hoping to find a collegiate program that will enable me to continue growing as a student athlete and as a person. I would love to be part of a team that strives to have fun as we work together to reach our individual and team goals. I look forward to learning more about your programs and showing you what I can bring to the table.
