Hello, my name is Landon Ozley.
I have been playing volleyball for five years now, beginning my fourth year of Club. I started playing during quarantine just for fun. Looking back, I had no idea how important volleyball would become to me, the lessons I would learn, friends I would meet, skills I would develop, and the love I would develop for this sport.
I used to be very shy and unaware of what I wanted to be/do. Since I began playing volleyball, I have become more disciplined, focused, social, determined, and consistent. I am a very hard worker, maintaining a strong GPA in college prep/advanced courses. I also work two jobs in the summer and one during the school year. I have also coached volleyball for middle school and elementary students for the past 3 years.
In the classroom and on the field, I am a leader. I embrace constructive criticism, strive always to be my best, and work diligently to help my team grow. I take my responsibility to my team very seriously. I have played DS/Libero (left-handed) for the last three years and will be doing the same this season on Momentum Volleyball Club 18-1s this year.
I am looking for a college that helps me grow and challenges me, academically and on the court. What differentiates me from other athletes is my grit. Whenever things get tough, I never give up. I have been told by my coaches I am the hardest worker on the team. I always think of the positives and possible solutions. I cannot wait to continue my career in volleyball! Thank you for viewing my profile.
