Autumn Drees '19 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a college volleyball player.  My friends would always make fun of how I always had a volleyball in my hand or how I begged my family to practice bumping and setting with me.  I find great joy in playing and being part of this sport.  I have worked to improve my game through camps, individual coaching, physical training and club level competition.  Being 5'9" I have focused on all skills (hitting, blocking, serve receive, serving).  I feel it is important to have a high volleyball IQ to help the team in anyway. I am ready to go in anywhere I am needed.  I am extremely strategic about my play.  I pride myself on placing the ball anywhere you want it.  I feel this is one of my biggest strengths. I practice hard and play hard.  I thrive on competition.  I want to work hard everyday and I want to win.  I have played Division I club level volleyball for the Rocky Mountain Region for 4 years.  The I feel it has prepared me mentally and physically for the next step.  Club has giving me the opportunites and training to be a great addition to your college team.  My current team    ( The Diff 17 Black) has pushed me to become a better player and person.  I am so pleased to be part of a club that focuses on the whole player and builds us up as individuals.  I believe I can succeed and I want to win for each of the players on my team.  We came together to win the Adidas Windy City Qualifier for 17 USA. We are off to play Open in Las Vegas March 20-23 to push our skills. Then off to Nationals.
