Personal Statement
I am extremely excited about all the opprotunities and experiences that will be coming my way. My goal in college is to create life long friendships, work hard, and play the sport that I am passionate about.
The relationships that are built when playing on a team are crucial for success. These are lifelong friendships and family, not just teammates. That is why I strive to be the best teammate possible. I will be there for the team through the nail-bitting , head-to-head games, through the tough and hard fought loses, and through the glorious wins. That is why I always put my best effort into the game. To give my all for my teammates is the best success of all. That is why I will always be on the floor for them ball.
I am also a very dedicated and self-driven student. I put a lot of work into my academics, as I have taken multiple AP and honors classes to receive a 4.06 GPA. That is also expected to go up as I finish my last year of high school. I am on my way to graduate with honors and I take extreme pride in my academic career. Resurrection Christian school , being a smaller school, has been one Of the biggest blessings in my life. It has taught me to be self-driven, work with perseverance, and achieve greatness. In addition to, the smaller size of my class has been my family and they too have taught me to live a life of humility, kindness, and passion. My family and friends play a very important role in my life as they have brought me support, unconditional love, and have always taught me to be true to myself.
Although Colorado is a beautiful state, and has given me so many blessings, I am excited to se what the world has to offer. I am looking forward to the opportunities that will come my way and I know that my athletic and academic career will be successful as I put in the work to make it great. I am looking forward to extending my passion for the game past high school because of the many life lessons and opportunities that the game provides. With any opportunity, I am determined to be the best I can be and live life to the fullest.
