Leanna Wilson '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Leanna Wilson a sophomore (class of 2027) from Falcon Highschool in Colorado Springs. In college I would like to go into the field of medical science and help contribute to the science field in some way. I have been nominated for different leadership roles like captain of JV, and I am usually the captain for many team projects and drills in volleyball. I have also been invited to a leadership council for school because of my leadership abilities. I have a competitive spirit and hate losing, but I know that losing means you can learn from that experience and become a better individual for the next game.  I am a hard worker both on court and in school having a 4.26 GPA and swinging from JV to varsity my sophomore year and playing after only 2 years of volleyball. I am a very empathetic person, and I believe that sportsman ship is key to an enjoyable game between your opponents.
