Alli Ward '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Alli Ward, and I am a Junior at Windsor Charter Academy in Colorado. I have been playing volleyball for my whole life. I am driven, hard-working, coachable, and willing to put in the effort to be great, whether that's on or off the court. When I was a freshman in high school, during a club volleyball game while hitting, I jumped, landed wrong, and fully tore my ACL, partially tore my meniscus, MCL, LCL, and PCL. I was out for a whole year. Even though it was extremely difficult to have something I loved taken away from me in the blink of an eye, watching everyone play from the sidelines, I learned that hard work, discipline, consistency, confidence, and patience are the most important things needed to achieve goals. Here I am, a little over a year later, back to playing the sport I love with a stronger passion than ever.  I have learned that you can't take things for granted and to live in the moment. Academically, I have always been motivated to get good grades, coming from my parents and also my siblings. I try my best on every assignment, and I believe in the quote that you get out what you put in.
