Hailie Gordy '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Hailie Gordy! I am a setter for my high school and I currently play as an outside hitter for my club team. I have played volleyball for about 5 years now, and I have absolutely enjoyed every second of it. 

As an athlete, every time I step onto any court all I can do is strive to be better, not only for myself but for my teammates. I believe in order to be a strong athlete, you must be a role model on and off the court. As a very loud and outgoing person, I try to lead my team in any way positive.  I hope to continue on this path throughout college. In college, I hope to be able to constantly learn and grow, in school and outside of school. I am debating between trying to become a primary teacher or a criminal psychologist. Very two different professions, but I have a profound love for both. I would prefer to stay in-state but I am always willing to expand my preferences. 

I am a strong student-athlete that is ready to compete at any time. All I hope to do is get a good education and continue playing the sport I love.
