Personal Statement

I am very fortunate for the opportunities and success that I have had both in the classroom and on the volleyball court throughout my high school and club career.  I contribute my success to setting high but realistic goals, having a strong work ethic, family values, being a great teammate, and surrounding myself with others who are just as competitive as I am both on and off the court.

4 Yr Varsity Letter

4 Yr Academic Letter (2 years Academic Excellence and 2 years First Team Academic All-State)

4X Conference Champions

3X Regional Champions

3X State Participant

Team Captain Senior Year

Senior All-State games Participant (1 of 18 athletes selected)

First Team All-Conference Senior Year

All-State Participant and Honorable Mention

I have earned a varsity letter during all four years at Windsor High School (75-23 in four years).  As a freshman, our team finished #6 at the 2018 5A State Championships.  As a junior last season, we finished #3 in the State of Colorado.  We headed into state in the fall of 2021 as the #3 seed to finish off my senior year, and my teammates recently voted me team captain.

I know it will take hard work, discipline, focus, and consistency day in and day out to play at the collegiate level.  With my strong team leadership skills, I will strive to be a positive influence on the team and become the best competitor I can be.   With the right school, program, and coaching staff, I feel the possibilities are endless.

As a six-rotation player during these past three seasons, (Varsity HS season, The Diff - 16u Arete, and ClubOne - 17u Gold) this has allowed me to develop my game and become a better all-around athlete. Please take a look at my highlight videos - I have updated my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLocLxdo4wEl7Ze7xVHAFiA6rq-2CnHgoH) with gameplay video footage of my hitting, setting, and back-row play from our high school, 16u-1 and 17u-1 shortened club season due to COVID-19.

I was also identified as a leader at Windsor High School by a WHS staff member to participate in Sources of Strength (https://sourcesofstrength.org/). The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent suicide by increasing help-seeking behaviors and promoting connections between peers and caring adults. I was recognized and received an Academic Letter (National Honor Society and Academic Excellence) for all four years.
