Hello, my name is Elizabeth Ploof, I am a committed and determined student athlete. I currently attend H. H. Ellis Technical highschool, this year is my fourth year of playing volleyball. My junior year i made varsity, and was the libero, and this year my coach had me become a setter. So i am fairly new to setting, but my coach switched my position because she thinks i have potential as a setter. Over summer break i participated in a summer league, which is when the decision of becoming a setter was made, so all summer i worked with my coach working on setting drills to. I also do work in a fitness room working on my agility, and keep myself in shape, especially in the off season. I personally think that I am a good team mate, when im having an off day and serves arent going where i want them to, my coach has someone else serve for me, and even though I got taken out, I was still rooting for her and cheering her on from the side. And then I went right back in and played my hardest. Im always staying in the correct position, and helping my team if they start to feel down. Before highschool i had never touched a volleyball, and now 4 years later im not ready to stop, and I am committed and ready to do whatever I have to do to play at the college level.
